GENERAL BOARD MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION

Board members take our development and programs to the next level.

Board members should be passionate about our mission and able to help build awareness and engage supporters.

Experience and skills we seek include, but are not limited to: fundraising, nonprofit financial and accounting advisement, legal advisement, program development, marketing, media skills, microfinance, business mentorship and technical assistance for native plant nursery and landscape enterprises.

MEETINGS: Our board typically meets every other month via Zoom, 5-6 meetings/year, on a day and time agreed to by consensus. Board members are expected to attend these meetings. Board members are asked to lead or support a committee where possible. 

All board members are expected to support the organization financially, with a gift meaningful to them.
